8-14-24. This restaurant was recommended to me from the Brandon Inn, where I was staying. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the bar of this cool place. I went with the burger with Bacon and French Fries. I highly recommend. The town of Brandon is a beautiful spot in VT

We were a part of 4 and sat at the bar two different evenings. Tawny waited in us and she was awesome. She laughed and talked with us and served everything up promptly. The food was delicious and the drinks were great! We shared the steak and cheese sub both times. Our friends shared a hamburger and it was yummy. We liked Tawny so much we even invited her to visit us in Florida. We recommend this place!

This was the only dinner place open on one of my two nights in Brandon, other than the takeout pizza shop. I was looking for a nice place to sit and have a meal and a beer after mountain biking in the area. Turns out several of the restaurants in the downtown are closed Tues and Weds so I was a bit discouraged. But I kept walking and found the River Pub and Grill was open so in I went. Happy with my experience. Food was a click or two above your ordinary tavern fare of burgers and wings, although they do have those. I had a grilled Caesar salad (never seen it done that way but a nice change of pace) then a grilled portobello sandwich with fries, and carrot cake for dessert. Also a local IPA on draft. Food was quite competent and the service was above average... very friendly and attentive. Prices are certainly reasonable. I would recommend.

Absolutely one of the best dinners I've had in awhile steak was cooked perfectly maple carrots were seasoned to perfection and the flavor of the roasted red potatoes was on point. Paired my meal with a fiddle head and glass of basil Hayden whiskey. My bartender/waiter was super attentive and professional. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff. Our waitress was so sweet and checked in on us constantly. She even brought my service dog a bowl of water. We love dining on the patio to hear the waterfall. The food was amazing. Highly recommend

The steak sandwich was fantastic. They make their own Bleu cheese dressing, which was perfect. If I ever end up near here again, I will come back without a doubt.

This chill little tavern served us some pretty spectacular pub food. I never get a wrap for dinner, but the waitress recommended it and I'm glad she did! The bread for the wrap was almost like naan. The chicken was luscious. The sweet potato hash is amazing. Thanks for a great dinner!

Great spot all around! Super friendly staff and welcoming vibes. My group got chicken wings (if you're getting these, the maple sauce is incredible!), a sandwich, a couple beers, and some desserts. We were all very happy with our food, but highly recommend the cobbler and the maple wings.
